AACR 2018

Over 100 years ago a small group of scientists had a meeting. The setting was the Willard Hotel in Washington D.C.; there were 11 attendees. The group was comprised of researchers, pathologists, and surgeons, each was outstanding in their field and each sharing a common goal defeating cancer. Together they formed the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) that would grow to a multi-faceted national organization that would make, among other things, meeting together an annual occurrence.

Today Bio X Cell is proud to attend the AACR Annual meeting every year. With over 21,800 scientists, clinicians, patients, survivors, and other advocates the conference is one of the best places for us to come together, learn, teach, and have fun with our community.

In 2018 Bio X Cell was represented at the meeting by Klaus, our founder and President, Cody, our Head Scientist, and Lauren, our head of customer service. They had a blast.

“I always love meeting our customers and hearing about what they’re doing with our products. Also, the prize wheel shouldn’t be as much fun as it is but people love winning discounts and it’s awesome.”  - Cody

On top of conversations, prizes wheels, and storytelling we also had T-Shirts this year at booth 1045.

Our new antibodies in space t-shirts were… out of this world and people seemed… over the moon about them:

We’re working on some great things for next year and can’t wait to share them with you at AARC 2019 in Atlanta. For now, follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter for the latest and greatest from Bio X Cell.
